Unless I'm missing something I figured you can constantly get xp with no waiting around for bites etc, I know you get way more xp and cash for unique carp and such but there's the cooldown timer that messes that strategy up. Call me crazy but after testing stuff out I feel like sturgeon at cali is still the best way to go(I just got to 55 so no south america yet). So after watching videos and reading guides for the best spot to grind, I've been wondering how fish respawn time and hourly catch limits work in different places.
